Selection Committee

The Selection Committee consists of senior professionals from the field of fine arts. The decisions of the Selection Committee in all rounds of the competition will be final and binding.

Eligibility Criteria

Participants must be 18 years of age or above to participate in the All India Painting Competition.

Who Can Participate

  • Professional artists, school and college teachers, students, academics, fine arts students, art lovers, and anyone with an interest in painting are eligible to participate.
  • Members of the Selection Committee are not allowed to participate in the competition.

Theme / Topic of Competition

The theme of the All India Painting Competition is determined each year by the organising committee. Themes may be inspired by art, culture, social awareness, humanity, creativity, emotions, or contemporary issues related to society.

Participants are expected to create artwork that meaningfully represents the announced theme. It is strongly recommended that participants carefully understand the concept and purpose of the topic before beginning their artwork.

The submitted artwork should demonstrate originality, creativity, imagination, and artistic interpretation relevant to the competition theme.

Essential Rules for Artwork

  • The submitted artwork must be original and self-created. Any copied or plagiarised artwork will be disqualified.
  • AI-generated artwork or digitally manipulated artwork will not be accepted. Only original handmade artwork created by the participant is allowed.
  • Uploaded artwork images should be clear, properly cropped, and of good quality for the selection process.

Artwork Size

The painting size must be between a minimum of 12 × 18 inches and a maximum of 36 × 48 inches.

Artwork Medium & Surface

  • Participants may use any painting medium.
  • Only Ivory Sheet, Cartridge Sheet, Texture Sheet, or Canvas can be used as the surface for the artwork.
  • The use of coloured paper, glitter, decorative materials, or pasted objects in the artwork is not allowed.

Registration Procedure

  • Fill out the Online Registration Form with all the required details.
  • The image of your artwork must be uploaded at the time of registration.
  • There is no participation fee for NSACO Members.
  • Participants who are not NSACO Members must pay a participation fee of Rs 350/- at the time of registration and provide the transaction details in the registration form.
  • A participant may submit up to 5 artworks. Participation fees will also apply to additional artworks.
  • For additional artworks, the participation fee is Rs. 150/- per artwork for NSACO Members and Rs. 200/- per artwork for other participants.
  • Please read all the Rules related to the All India Painting Competition carefully before participating.
  • All information provided by the participant must be accurate and complete.
  • Participants must register their entries, including photographs of their artwork, before the submission deadline mentioned on the competition page. The organisation reserves the right to extend the submission deadline if necessary, and no objection regarding such extension will be entertained.
  • Registrations will be accepted through online mode only.
  • To avoid recurring participation fees, participants may apply for a Lifetime Membership of NSACO.
  • Participation fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

Selection Process

  • 60 artworks will be shortlisted by the Selection Committee from all submitted entries.
  • 30 artworks from the shortlisted entries will be nominated for the final round.
  • The winners will be selected from the 30 nominated artworks.
  • All participants and winners will receive updates through the competition page on our website and the Event Calendar page.

Selection Process for Special Prizes

  • All artworks will be uploaded to the organisation’s Instagram page @artncultureorganisation .
  • The 10 most-liked artworks on Instagram will be shortlisted.
  • Out of the shortlisted artworks, 3 winners will be selected by the Selection Committee.

Declaration of Result

The results will be declared on the date announced by the Organisation. However, the Organisation reserves the absolute right to extend or modify the result declaration date if required. No participant shall raise any objection regarding such changes.

Awards

  • 1st Prize : 21,000/-
    + Trophy + Award Certificate + Gift Hampers + Exhibit Work on Gallery
  • 2nd Prize : 11,000/-
    + Trophy + Award Certificate + Gift Hampers + Exhibit Work on Gallery
  • 3rd Prize : 5,100/-
    + Trophy + Award Certificate + Gift Hampers + Exhibit Work on Gallery
  • Consolation Prizes(3) : 2,100/-
    Trophy + Award Certificate + Gift Hampers + Exhibit Work on Gallery
  • Special Prizes(3) : 1,100/-
    (Based on Likes on Our Instagram Page)

For Winners

  • Top 30 nominated artists will get a free opportunity to participate in a national-level group art exhibition. However, they must submit the artwork intended for exhibition to the Organisation by the date specified by the Organisation.
  • Winners may not request any alternative or substitution in exchange for the awarded prizes. All winners shall be solely responsible for any applicable taxes or additional charges.
  • It is compulsory for all winners to attend the prize distribution ceremony. Otherwise, the prize money may be cancelled.
  • If the Organisation is unable to conduct the award distribution ceremony for any reason, it will make reasonable efforts to send the winners’ trophies and certificates through post or courier. No objection regarding this shall be entertained.

Special Award on Instagram Like Basis

  • Your artwork image will also be uploaded to our Instagram Page , and the link will be shared with you through Instagram or WhatsApp.
  • Participants may collect Likes on their artwork posts only until the date specified by the Organisation. After this date, the posts may be archived.
  • The 10 most-liked artworks on Instagram will be shortlisted.
  • Out of the shortlisted artworks, 3 winners will be selected by the Selection Committee.
  • The decision of the Selection Committee will be final, and no appeal will be entertained.

Participation Certificate

  • Participation Certificates will be provided to all participants.
  • The soft copy of the certificate will be sent to the participant’s registered email address.
  • If any participant wishes to receive a hard copy of the certificate, courier charges will have to be paid separately.

Artwork Submission (Only for Top 6 Nominated Participants)

  • It is compulsory for the top 6 nominated participants to submit their original artworks to the organisation by the given deadline for the exhibition.
  • Participants may submit the artwork personally or send it through registered post or courier
  • Do not send artworks in glass frames through courier or post, as the glass may break during transit.
  • Courier or postage charges for sending artworks must be borne by the participants.
  • Participants disqualified at any stage of the competition shall not be eligible to claim any awards or rewards.

Miscellaneous

  • By submitting their registration or artwork, participants agree to all the rules and regulations of the competition.
  • Participants are required to follow all guidelines and arrangements made by the organiser. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from prize eligibility.
  • Any participant found copying or misusing another artist’s work will be solely responsible for the consequences.
  • The decisions of the Selection Committee will be final, and no appeal will be entertained.
  • The organising committee reserves the right to interpret, modify, or update the rules and regulations whenever necessary.
  • Any updates or changes related to the competition will be published on the organisation’s Competition Page or Terms Page.
  • The organisation will not be responsible for any loss or damage to artworks caused by natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances.
  • By participating in the competition, participants grant permission to the organiser to use images of the submitted artworks for promotional, exhibition, website, catalogue, and social media purposes.
  • The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose artwork or conduct violates the competition rules or contains inappropriate, offensive, or misleading content.
