Selection Committee
The Selection Committee consists of experienced and expert professionals from the field of fine arts. The decisions of the Selection Committee in all rounds of the competition will be final and binding.
Eligibility Criteria
Participants aged 3 to 17 years are eligible to participate in the competition.
Who Can Participate
- All children, school students, art institutes, art academies, and young art enthusiasts are eligible to participate.
Theme / Topic of Competition
The competition involves colouring the drawing provided for Group J (Ages 3 to 6). Participants must not remove or alter any part of the original printed drawing. Participants may add extra elements to enhance the artwork or introduce a unique touch, provided these additions appear to be an integral part of the theme.
For all other groups in the 'All India Child Art Competition', the themes are determined by the organising committee. Themes may be inspired by art, culture, social awareness, humanity, creativity, emotions, or contemporary societal issues.
The theme of the All India Painting Competition is determined each year by the organising committee. Themes may be inspired by art, culture, social awareness, humanity, creativity, emotions, or contemporary issues related to society.
Participants are expected to create artwork that meaningfully represents the announced theme. It is strongly recommended that participants carefully understand the concept and purpose of the topic before beginning their artwork.
The submitted artwork should demonstrate originality, creativity, imagination, and artistic interpretation relevant to the competition theme.
Essential Rules for Artwork
- The submitted artwork must be original and self-created. Any copied or plagiarised artwork will be disqualified.
- AI-generated artwork or digitally manipulated artwork will not be accepted. Only original handmade artwork created by the participant is allowed.
- Uploaded artwork images should be clear, properly cropped, and of good quality for the selection process.
Artwork Size
The artwork size must be between a minimum of A4 and a maximum of Full Imperial.
Artwork Medium & Surface
- Participants may use any painting medium.
- Only Ivory Sheet, Cartridge Sheet, Texture Sheet, or Canvas can be used as the surface for the artwork.
- The use of coloured paper, glitter, decorative materials, or pasted objects in the artwork is not allowed.
Registration Procedure
- Fill out the Online Registration Form with all the required details.
- The image of your artwork must be uploaded at the time of registration.
- There is no participation fee for NSACO Members.
- Participants who are not NSACO Members must pay a participation fee of Rs 300/- at the time of registration and provide the transaction details in the registration form.
- A participant can submit only one artwork.
- Please read all the Rules related to the All India Child Art Competition carefully before participating.
- All information provided by the participant must be accurate and complete.
- Participants must register their entries, including photographs of their artwork, before the submission deadline mentioned on the competition page. The organisation reserves the right to extend the submission deadline if necessary, and no objection regarding such extension will be entertained.
- Registrations will be accepted through online mode only.
- To avoid recurring participation fees, participants may apply for a Lifetime Membership of NSACO.
- Participation fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
Selection Process
- 40 artworks will be shortlisted by the Selection Committee from all submitted entries.
- 10 entries will be shortlisted from each group.
- The winners will be selected from the shortlisted entries by the Honourable Judges.
- The decisions of the selection committee will be final, and no appeal will be entertained.
- All participants and winners will receive updates through the competition page on our website and the Event Calendar page.
Declaration of Result
The results will be declared on the date announced by the Organisation. However, the Organisation reserves the absolute right to extend or modify the result declaration date if required. No participant shall raise any objection regarding such changes.

For Winners
- All winners must submit their original artwork to the organising committee by the given deadline.
- Do not send your artwork in a glass frame by courier or post, as the glass may break during transit.
- Courier or postage charges for sending artworks must be borne by the participants.
- The organisation will not be responsible for any damage to the artwork during courier or transit, and no claim will be entertained.
- Winners may not request any alternative or substitution in exchange for the awarded prizes. All winners shall be solely responsible for any applicable taxes or additional charges.
- It is compulsory for all winners to attend the prize distribution ceremony. Otherwise, the prize money may be cancelled.
- If the Organisation is unable to conduct the award distribution ceremony for any reason, it will make reasonable efforts to send the winners’ trophies and certificates through post or courier. No objection regarding this shall be entertained.
- Gift hampers will be provided as part of the prizes only if the award ceremony is held at a physical venue. If, for any reason, the prizes are distributed through courier or post, gift hampers will not be included.
- Participants disqualified at any stage of the competition shall not be eligible to claim any awards or rewards.
Participation Certificate
- Participation Certificates will be provided to all participants.
- The soft copy of the certificate will be sent to the participant’s registered email address.
- If any participant wishes to receive a hard copy of the certificate, courier charges will have to be paid separately.
Miscellaneous
- By submitting their registration or artwork, participants agree to all the rules and regulations of the competition.
- Participants are required to follow all guidelines and arrangements made by the organiser. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from prize eligibility.
- Any participant found copying or misusing another artist’s work will be solely responsible for the consequences.
- The decisions of the Selection Committee will be final, and no appeal will be entertained.
- The organising committee reserves the right to interpret, modify, or update the rules and regulations whenever necessary.
- Any updates or changes related to the competition will be published on the organisation’s Competition Page or Terms Page.
- The organisation will not be responsible for any loss or damage to artworks caused by natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances.
- By participating in the competition, participants grant permission to the organiser to use images of the submitted artworks for promotional, exhibition, website, catalogue, and social media purposes.
- The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose artwork or conduct violates the competition rules or contains inappropriate, offensive, or misleading content.
