About Artist My self Sumeet Kumar Naik ,from dist - kalahandi , Odisha . I had my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh and continuing my masters in Utkal University of Culture, Department of painting. And exploring with my colours.
About Artwork This painting invisions Basant ritu -Rituraj of Odisha - not only as a season of renewal and beauty but as a metaphor of a peaceful life rooted in harmony and tradition. The spirit of spring, with its blossoming tree and gentle song, reflects a way of living that embraces slowness, gratitude and inner calm. At the centre of the composition, a crown woven from twigs and flower replace one of the gold, symbolising that the true richness lies in simplicity. The loyal, still perched atop, sings not just to awaken the forest but to remind us of the soft rhythm. A peacock's soft shadow moves through the background like a fleeting dream, connecting memory, monsoon and celebration, reminding us that peace is also found in moments we let pass gently, without clinging. The cool blue tone of distance blends with the warm saffron of blooming flowers to evoke the duality of joy and serenity. Together, they paint a world where seasonal changes become a teacher, guide us toward a life lived with harmony-with nature, with others and with ourselves.

TitleWhen She Paints, She Heals
MediumAcrylic
About Artist I’m Zakiya, an artist who has been painting since childhood. Art has always been my way of expressing emotions and telling stories. With every brushstroke, I bring my thoughts to life, blending tradition, nature, and imagination. Painting gives me peace, purpose, and joy, and through my work, I hope to inspire others and spread beauty in the world.
About Artwork In my painting, a girl sits gracefully in a traditional dress, wearing a frock and dupatta, with curly hair gently framing her face. She paints calmly on a canvas, surrounded by a soft background with a leaf, symbolising nature and growth. The focus is on her painting, because for me, peace lives in that moment of creation. Peace is different for everyone; for some, it’s music, for others, silence. But for me, it’s painting. It’s where I feel calm, happy, and connected to myself. Through this artwork, I show that true peace is personal, and mine blooms beautifully through art.

TitlePeaceful Life
MediumAcrylic
About Artist Hi, I'm Neha, a freelance artist with a passion for painting and sketching. I love bringing ideas to life through colours and creativity. Whether it's a custom artwork or a personal project, I aim to express emotions and stories through every brushstroke.
About Artwork This painting is a striking fusion of abstract expressionism and surreal portraiture. The grayscale face of a woman dominates the centre, her features serene and composed. Vertical strokes distort her head and body, as if she's dissolving into the background—a blur between form and formlessness. What's truly captivating is the horizontal strip that replaces her eyes, revealing a tranquil landscape of calm waters, green fields, and distant mountains.
Surrounding her is a chaotic burst of colour—bold reds, blues, yellows, and greens applied in thick, expressive strokes. This contrast between the colourful chaos and the grayscale calm suggests an inner stillness amidst external noise. The landscape across her eyes acts as a window to peace, serenity, and perhaps the life she longs for or carries within.
This piece beautifully connects to the concept of a peaceful life. It suggests that while the world outside may be cluttered and loud, true peace is a vision held within—a mental escape to a place of harmony and balance. The woman’s stoic expression reinforces the idea that inner tranquillity can remain untouched despite the surrounding disarray.Nav Shri Art & Culture Organisation

TitleHappy Diwali?
About Artist I have experience with the IGD Bombay Arts Examination 2024, specifically through I.D. Tripathi Inter College. As part of this, I am focused on pursuing the Drawing Teacher Diploma (DTD) through IGD Bombay Arts. This diploma aims to enhance my qualifications as a drawing teacher, enabling me to teach art effectively at various educational levels. The Drawing Teacher Diploma (DTD) is recognised as a prestigious qualification, and obtaining it will significantly boost my credentials in the field of art education, furthering my professional opportunities, especially in schools and institutions where specialised art instruction is valued.
About Artwork I created this artwork to celebrate the essence of Diwali, the festival of lights, through vibrant colours and traditional elements. My goal was to depict the warmth and joy of the festival, focusing on family and communal gatherings. By incorporating figures of women lighting diyas and children participating in the rituals, I aimed to show the unity and togetherness that Diwali brings. I used bright, festive colours like red, green, and blue to evoke the energy and joy of the celebration. The night sky in the background, adorned with fireworks, adds a peaceful contrast, representing the spiritual aspect of Diwali—the triumph of light over darkness. Through this artwork, I wanted to convey not just the outward festivities but also the deeper meaning of the festival, where tradition, family, and light come together to create a sense of warmth and happiness.

About Artwork A peaceful life is the one thing that all of us keep looking for in today's world, where technology has taken complete control of our lives. One of the greatest creations of technology is social media. We depend so much on its various platforms that nowadays it has become almost impossible for us to live our lives without it. However, we fail to understand the need to take time out for ourselves by taking a break from social media from time to time. Therefore, in today's times, I strongly believe that switching off your mobile phone once in a while is the only key to living a peaceful life. It's time to let the bird of your inner peace out of its cage to renew your hopes of a peaceful life.

About Artist I am a graduate in Bachelor of Fine Arts with a specialisation in Painting from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh. Currently, I’m working as a freelance artist.
About Artwork This painting is a self-portrait of one of my favourite everyday moments—sitting on my bed with my sketchbook and a cup of something warm, just lost in my own little world. Inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night, I aimed to bring its emotional texture into my everyday space. Each object reflects comfort, creativity, and the quiet peace found in familiar chaos. This piece is about finding peace in the ordinary. For me, it’s these quiet moments with myself, where I can breathe, reflect, and create freely.

TitleA Quiet Afternoon
MediumAcrylic
About Artist I am a first-year Bachelor of Fine Arts student with a deep passion for expressing human experiences and personal reflections through art. My work blends realism, anime-inspired styles and patchworks, often brought to life through a mix of watercolours, charcoal, acrylics, and oils. I enjoy exploring mixed media as a way to push creative boundaries and tell emotionally resonant stories. As I continue to grow as an artist, I strive to develop a unique visual voice that connects with others on a meaningful level.
About Artwork Title: "A Quiet Afternoon" Medium: Acrylic on Paper Artist: Pragya Dhyani This painting shows a peaceful moment where a lady is sitting on a chair swing, knitting a woollen scarf. The act of knitting here shows that peace and happiness are something we can create ourselves. The setting is very special, it is the home of the artist’s grandmother, who has now passed away. Her house, once full of love and laughter, is now quiet. The artist’s peace used to be that home, and now that peace feels lost. The artwork is drawn in a unique style that can be seen and understood in different ways. There are many small but powerful details, like the flower pot with a peace lily, which is a symbol of peace, love, and remembrance. This painting is not just a scene, it is a memory, a feeling, and a way to show how deeply we miss the places and people who brought us comfort.

MediumWater Colour
About Artist I am an art lover, currently studying at Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun. I am a B.F.A. first-year student. This is my first time participating in the All India Painting competition.
About Artwork This depiction of peaceful life shows it as a concept woven by love rather than a god given boon. For some, finding peace is easy, and for some, it is hard to achieve. This depiction shows that a peaceful life is achieved through generational love. A child born in a loving environment reflects the same energy. The contrast in this work is the attire. The old woman is wearing a pahadi shawl, and the rest are wearing typical Rajasthani attire. This showcases that rather than family, a neighbour or any other person can also be a path to peace and love, resulting in a peaceful living.

About Artist My name I am a watercolour portrait artist who enjoys exploring unique concepts based on each competition’s theme. Through portraiture, I aim to create artwork that is visually engaging and mentally reflective.
About Artwork This artwork combines watercolour and real thread to explore the idea of a peaceful life through contrasting mindsets. The two faces represent different approaches to life—one rooted in spiritual detachment and the other in empathetic action. The use of thread (not for decoration) symbolises psychological entanglement, with one figure making an effort to untangle it, while the other remains lost in internal chaos. The work reflects how peace can be perceived differently depending on one’s values and perspective.

TitleThe Essence of a Peaceful Life
MediumAcrylic
About Artist Hi, I am Ruchi Salvi, an art enthusiast who pursues art with genuine passion. Art has always been a special part of my life, serving as a means to express myself and explore new perspectives. What began as a hobby has evolved into something profoundly meaningful over time. Participating in this national-level competition is an exciting opportunity for me to learn, grow, and connect with fellow talented artists across the country. I am grateful to be part of this platform and to have the chance to showcase my work on such a respected stage. I continue to create with curiosity, dedication, and a constant desire to improve.
About Artwork This painting is a visual meditation on the truth that peace begins in the mind and radiates outward into the universe. The central blue-faced figure with closed eyes represents inner calm, showing that true peace starts with self-awareness. Her flowing hair becomes the cosmos, symbolising that the mind holds the universe, and our thoughts shape reality. The meditating figure at the heart radiates white circles of energy, depicting the spiritual connection between the individual mind and the universal consciousness. A boat floats gently through this cosmic mindscape, representing balance and freedom, both essential for mental peace. The dove in flight symbolises hope, purity, and divine peace, rising above worldly noise. Lotus flowers, growing from dark waters, reflect spiritual awakening and rising through struggle. Each blossom in the artwork symbolises inner growth, clarity, and the unfolding of consciousness. The graceful swan gliding on water evokes serenity and soul purity, moving through life with poise and presence. A butterfly signifies the journey of transformation, the quiet, personal evolution from limitation to liberation. The day-to-night transition in the background illustrates that peace embraces both light and darkness, and true balance comes from accepting all seasons of life with grace. The walking silhouette toward the golden horizon represents the soul's journey toward light, truth, and peaceful living. Nature throughout the painting, trees, flowers, the setting sun, and flowing water, reflects the truth that a peaceful life is nature mirrored within, rooted like trees, glowing like the sun, flowing like water, and blooming like flowers. Core Message This painting expresses that a peaceful life begins in the mind, is nurtured through stillness, blossoms through connection to nature and the self, and aligns with the rhythm of the universe. It is an inner revolution, a return to wholeness, where freedom, balance, and awareness cocreate serenity. Artist Statement for The Essence of a Peaceful Life. In this work, I explore peace not as an escape from life, but as a deep alignment with it. The Essence of a Peaceful Life reflects the inner journey toward stillness, balance, and harmony with the universe. Rather than depicting peace as stillness alone, the painting expresses it as a dynamic flow where freedom, awareness, and nature move together in rhythm. Through symbolic forms and cosmic transitions, I invite the viewer to look inward and remember that peace is not a distant place, it is a presence that begins in the mind, blooms through the soul, and resonates through the world around us.

About Artwork DHYAN - Dhyan or Meditation is a weapon through which we can live our lives peacefully. Man has become very modern in today's fast-paced life; he neither pays attention to spirituality nor meditates. All of us deities like om namah shivaye for lord mahadev, radha radha for lord shri krishn, a ram ram ram for prabhu ram ji, etc. In my painting, I have made a painting dedicated to Mother Gayatri by taking the world's most ancient sacred mantra. In this painting, I have shown a modern human in the centre who has the Gayatri Mantra around his neck, and he is in a calm posture. This shows that if a human chants any mantra or meditates daily, then their life turns into a peaceful life, and in the painting behind the human figure, many humans and birds are seen who are being drawn by the magnetic power of the human's spirituality and meditation.

It depicts a group of children engaged in playful moments, their laughter and energy adding life to a calm, quiet alley. In contrast, the colourful balloons introduce a sense of hope and liveliness found in everyday life. Tranquillity at Play reflects the true spirit of peaceful living, not rooted in material wealth, but in the small, shared joys found in nature and togetherness. It captures the spirit of childhood—a time of boundless joy and a carefree sense of self, filled with innocence and delight found in the simplest moments.
